Twenty years ago, a friendly competition began with a simple purpose: helping provide food for Virginians in need. Today, Legal Food Frenzy has become one of our state’s most impactful food and funds drives.
Feed More is proud to celebrate the 20th Annual Legal Food Frenzy, and extend our sincere gratitude to the law firms, corporate legal departments, law schools, courts, governmental legal offices and public agencies that participated in this year’s campaign. Since its inception, the Legal Food Frenzy has raised nearly 28 million pounds of food for Virginia’s seven regional food banks, helping provide millions of meals for neighbors across the Commonwealth, including families, children, older adults and individuals right here in Central Virginia.
And this year’s campaign once again showcased the generosity and commitment of legal professionals stepping up to make a difference for their communities. A special congratulations to this year’s winners, including:
- Feed More Regional Award Winner: Lantz and Robins, P.C.
- Impact Award – Total Giving: McGuireWoods LLP
- Private Law Firm: Woods Rogers
- Government and Public Service: Scott County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office
- Corporate Legal Department: Altria Group Law Department
At a time when many households continue to navigate rising grocery costs and other financial challenges, this initiative helps ensure our neighbors have reliable access to the wholesome foods they need to thrive. Thank you to the Federation of Virginia Food Banks and The Office of the Attorney General of Virginia for your continued partnership, and to Virginia’s legal community for continuing to turn friendly competition into lasting impact. Together, we are helping nourish communities across the Commonwealth, one meal at a time.
