What We're Looking For

The Manager, School Markets & Partnerships leads the growth, execution, and performance of Feed More’s School Market program portfolio. This role owns partner relationships, market expansion strategy, measurable participation growth, and program performance outcomes. The Manager balances strong field presence with structured administration and operational discipline.

This position serves as the primary relationship lead for participating schools and districts, while ensuring tactical excellence in scheduling, ordering, compliance, reporting, and program enhancement. The Manager is accountable for measurable growth in participation, partner engagement, and overall program effectiveness.

What You'll Do

Program Growth & Strategic Development

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new School Market sites based on community need and scalability.
  • Develop and execute growth plans for expanding participation at existing markets.
  • Increase the percentage of total eligible families attending markets.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and focus groups to identify additional school-based needs beyond food access.
  • Recommend strategic adjustments to improve long-term sustainability and impact.

Partnership Leadership & Field Presence

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for school principals, district leaders, and site coordinators.
  • Maintain regular on-site presence at School Markets to support quality and engagement.
  • Strengthen partnerships to integrate additional services (e.g., SNAP outreach, community programs) during distributions.
  • Gather structured feedback from families and school staff through biannual surveys.
  • Represent Feed More professionally within school communities.

Operational Execution & Administration

  • Develop and maintain program agreements with participating schools.
  • Create and manage annual program calendars and distribution schedules.
  • Oversee produce determination, ordering, and coordination with Operations.
  • Manage agency orders, including tracking and transfers when applicable.
  • Ensure accurate monthly reporting and performance tracking.
  • Facilitate and deliver training for school staff and volunteers related to School Market operations.
  • Monitor compliance with Feed More standards and program expectations.

Volunteer & Community Engagement Support

  • Track volunteer participation and hours connected to School Markets.
  • Coordinate with Volunteer Services to align volunteer engagement with market needs.
  • Identify opportunities to grow community engagement and ownership at each site.

Data & Performance Accountability

  • Track participation trends, attendance rates, and growth metrics across markets.
  • Analyze data to identify underperforming sites and develop improvement plans.
  • Provide structured performance updates to the Senior Manager.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for grant and funder requirements.
  • Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must Have

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience managing programs with measurable growth and performance accountability.
  • Exceptional skills in relationship building with school and community partners.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Effective track record of balancing field (external) engagement with administrative discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to improving child nutrition access and program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Access to personal transportation and be prepared to use it in executing expectations of the role

Ideally, Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, nonprofit management or related field.
  • 2-3 years of food distribution industry experience
  • Knowledge of food bank programs and the mission of food banks
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
