Over our 55+ year history serving Central Virginia, our state leaders have always made sure to visit Feed More to raise awareness about the ways that food insecurity impacts our region – and Governor Glenn Youngkin continued that proud tradition when he toured our new facility and volunteered in our Bayard Community Kitchen last December!
Food insecurity touches every corner of our communities — it’s estimated that 1 in 9 Central Virginians are experiencing food insecurity today — and the support of Governor Youngkin and all of our local officials is so appreciated as we work to increase access to our services and meet our neighbors in need where they are.
