Kroger and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden are teaming up to benefit Feed More once again! Kroger will sponsor a holiday food drive at Lewis Ginter during Dominion Energy GardenFest of Light for the second year in a row.
Beyond the holiday season, the two organizations partner to grow vegetables, herbs and fruit that Feed More uses to prepare meals for schoolchildren and homebound senior citizens as part of Kroger’s Zero Hunger Zero Waste initiative.
The Kroger Community Kitchen Garden at Lewis Ginter has donated over 70,000 pounds of fresh produce to Feed More since 2009.
