Following the sudden displacement of more than 100 seniors in Petersburg, this community stepped up.
Last week, Feed More mobilized alongside local partners to help provide nourishing food and water to neighbors temporarily staying in hotels across Hopewell 
and Petersburg, helping ensure immediate access to meals during a time of disruption and uncertainty.
This response was made stronger by so many who stepped in to help, including Lending Helping Hands, whose leadership continues to make a meaningful difference, volunteers from Live! Casino Virginia who jumped in to support and our dedicated Meals on Wheels volunteers who once again showed what it means to show up for neighbors when it matters most.
Moments like these are a powerful reminder that real impact happens when organizations, volunteers and communities come together quickly with compassion and action.
We’re grateful to everyone helping ensure these seniors feel supported, cared for and connected in the days ahead.
