Feed More collects, prepares and distributes food to neighbors in need. With a service area that stretches across 34 cities and counties, our comprehensive programs and Agency Network are dedicated to providing our communities with access to quality food and healthy meals year round.

What We're Looking For
An inquisitive, mission-driven, and hard-working individual to join our Development team this summer! Our Development team is responsible for securing the funds needed to keep Feed More operating and serving our community. The Development Intern will gain hands-on experience in donor stewardship, impact reporting, and donor engagement strategies. This role will work closely with the Development Associate to clean and analyze donor data, create meaningful stewardship opportunities, and conduct donor research. The intern will play a key role in strengthening relationships with our donors and ensuring they feel appreciated and connected to Feed More’s mission.

What You'll Do
- Assist in donor stewardship efforts, including making thank-you calls, writing personalized acknowledgment notes, and compiling donor impact stories.
- Support the development of donor engagement materials such as stewardship emails, donor updates, and impact reports in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Conduct donor research to enhance Feed More’s understanding of donor giving history, interests, and potential areas of engagement.
- Clean and analyze donor data to identify trends and opportunities for more tailored stewardship efforts.
- Assist with tracking donor interactions and updating donor records in the database.
- Monitor local philanthropy trends and research corporate donor giving programs to help strengthen Feed More’s outreach efforts.
- Support the Development team with other stewardship-related tasks as assigned.
Must Have
- Junior or Senior enrolled in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to team efforts.
- Passion for nonprofit work and donor engagement.
