Hunger Relief Program

The Many Ways We Help

Our hunger-relief programs work within the community and schools to provide targeted programs for children, students and those living in food deserts.

Beyond providing food directly to the community, and our Hunger Hotline for those in immediate need, we also provide hunger fighting programs to our agency partners that include our Direct Store Pickup Program, The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and so many other resources.

Over the past year, these hunger-relief programs have distributed 35+ million pounds of food, made 487,768 healthy meals made for our Meals on Wheels clients, served 120,000 urban and rural households and prepared 237,677 meals and snacks for our Children’s Programs.
