For two decades, Feed More has called Rhoadmiller Street home. But as demand for our hunger-fighting programs has increased, our 100-year-old tobacco warehouse can no longer support our 42-million pound food bank. That’s why we’re looking to the future and building the future home of hunger relief.
Starting on October 14th Feed More’s new home will be at 8020 Villa Park Drive in Henrico County. Thoughtful and strategic consideration went into selecting the site of our new home, making sure clients, volunteers, partners and staff were at the forefront of the decision making process. The new facility will have ample warehousing designed for distribution, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, enhanced volunteer areas, training and certification capacity and be centrally located for the entire community to access.
We’ve always been a convener with our food, so we want to have a facility that brings folks together. This new building will only make us a stronger convener and push us to be more collaborative with the community.
