Celebrating Feed More volunteers means honoring the kindness, dedication, and heart they bring to every shift.

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do at Feed More, and we had the honor of celebrating them at our Volunteer Recognition Ceremony at The Byrd Theatre! In 2025 alone, these kindhearted folks gave more than 125,000 hours to help ensure our neighbors have the nourishing meals they need to thrive.

We were also proud to recognize this year’s outstanding Volunteer of the Year award winners: Feed More President and CEO Dennis Hatchett and HR Business Partner and Senior Manager Admistration Lauren Williams with Volunteer of the Year winners Rod and Dorothy Conner

And in tribute to the spirit of kindness and service our volunteers embody, we enjoyed a screening of A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, and reflected on Fred Rogers’ belief that small acts of care can create lasting change.

To all of our volunteers: whether you’ve been serving with us for years or are just getting started, thank you. You are an essential part of this work, and we’re grateful and honored to serve alongside such a dedicated group of individuals.
