Learn More About SNAP

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) / EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) is a food program that provides monthly funds for neighbors to buy the food they need to thrive. More than 41 million people purchased food with SNAP benefits in 2022. It is the largest program working to fight hunger in America. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps boost your food budget and allows you to spend more at the grocery store. SNAP can be used to buy uncooked foods, beverages, and seeds or plants that produce food.
