What We're Looking For
The Senior Manager, Children’s Nutrition & Partnerships serves as the strategic leader of Feed More’s children’s nutrition portfolio. This role is responsible for building and scaling program models, establishing performance standards, strengthening funding alignment, and ensuring portfolio-wide impact. The Senior Manager moves the department from maintenance to model development, expansion, and measurable growth.
Children’s Nutrition & Partnerships is a strategic portfolio within Feed More focused on building, scaling, and strengthening nutrition models that improve food access and measurable outcomes for children. This department partners with schools, districts, and community stakeholders to design replicable, high-impact programs aligned with Feed More’s long-term strategic priorities.

What You'll Do
Strategic Thinking
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a strategy/approach for enhancing the impact across multiple constituencies
- Lead the design, refinement, and scaling of children’s nutrition program models.
- Establish clear performance metrics and outcome measures across the portfolio.
- Identify growth opportunities within school districts and municipalities.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend strategic expansion priorities.
- Align programs with funding strategies and long-term sustainability.
Leadership/Team Management
- Responsible for managing a small team of professionals: Manager, School Markets & Partnerships, and Children’s Nutrition Programs Coordinator
- Facilitate coaching sessions, team meetings, and huddles to inspire transparent communications and feedback
- Establish clear expectations, accountability systems, and professional development plans
- Foster a culture focused on innovation, accountability, and tangible outcomes.
Data Management & Decision Making
- Establish and oversee a portfolio-wide data framework that tracks participation, reach, utilization, cost efficiency, and outcome indicators across all children’s nutrition models.
- Use data to identify trends, gaps, and performance variances, translating findings into strategic recommendations for program refinement, expansion, or redesign.
- Partner with Programs, Operations, and Finance to align program data with capacity planning, forecasting, and resource allocation decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into site performance, growth trajectories, and return on investment.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and accurate reporting for federal and state programs (CACFP, SFSP, etc.), while leveraging insights to strengthen grant proposals and funder reporting.
Operations Management
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using data-driven methodologies to improve access, participation rates, and measurable child impact outcomes.
- Develop standardized program frameworks that can be replicated without dependency on specific individuals.
- Improve consistency, quality, and operational alignment across sites.
- Collaborate with Operations and Volunteer Services to ensure scalable execution models.
- Monitor portfolio-level performance and participation trends.
- Partner with Development to support grant strategy and reporting.
- Ensure alignment between federal and state programs (CACFP, SFSP, and related initiatives).
Must Have
- Degree in Public Health, Education, Non-Profit leadership, Public Administration or related field
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience leading a team
- Exceptional skills in strategic thinking and systems design
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Effective track record of communicating to diverse audiences, both oral and written
- Demonstrated experience in building and scaling community-focused programs
- Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives
- Proficiency in MS Office: i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Comfort and confidence to effectively interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities
- Must be able to perform in a manner consistent with the company vision and operating principles.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (may include evenings and/or weekend hours) to accommodate organizational needs
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Access to personal transportation and be prepared to use it in executing expectations of the role
Ideally, Will Have
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Education, Non-Profit Leadership, Public Administration or related field
- 3-5 years of food distribution industry experience
- Knowledge of food bank programs and the mission of food banks
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
