What We're Looking For
The Community Kitchen Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt and storage of Community Kitchen supplies in multiple locations. This position serves as the liaison between the Community Kitchen and Distribution Center for product movement. Supporting the Kitchen Director with the identification, ordering, storage, and coordination of product received from the Distribution Center for use in the Community Kitchen.

Inventory Control Management
What You'll Do
- Coordinates with Kitchen Director and designated Operations staff to optimize usage of donated product.
- Responsible for management of kitchen inventory located in the Distribution Center, all kitchen storage areas, including coolers and freezer, as determined by Food Production Manager in following all inventory management processes for receiving, put-a-ways, inventory picks, transfers, shipping, invoicing, cycle counts, and monthly inventory within the inventory management system ensuring overall inventory integrity and accuracy.
- Coordinates with Production Management Team to determine product pull schedules, to include “slack down” time for frozen product and rotation
- Receives, unloads, and rotates incoming products from all vendors to the kitchen to ensure accuracy of receipt. (PFG, US Foods, UNFI, Rudy’s, Oliver, Adams Burch, Distribution Center, etc.)
- Rotates stock, labels, and assists in tracking par levels of core product
- Check Warehouse Requisition deliveries for accuracy
- Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Must Have
- High School Diploma and at least two years of work experience or a combination of education and experience that will provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- ServSafe Certification required
- Forklift Operation Training Certificate to include sit-down and pallet jack
- Strong food preparation skills
- Strong warehouse safety knowledge (OSHA, Local, and Organizational regulations)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities
- Ability to meet crises calmly, show attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, show initiative, flexibility, work in a team environment, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadlines
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
- Must have flexible schedule to accommodate agency needs, occasional night and/ or weekend work may be required
Ideally, Will Have
- Three to five years previous work experience
- Knowledge of food bank programs, an awareness of how specific functions relate to programs and the mission of Feed More, Inc.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
