What We're Looking For
Feed More is in search of a part-time receptionist who will provide assistance to the Guest Experience and Services Assistant, HR Project Manager and Senior Manager, Volunteer Services. This role will coordinate incoming calls, visitors, volunteers, and meeting room calendars. Welcome visitors and assist them with donations/information on the company or put them in contact with the proper staff. Provide general clerical support.

What You'll Do
- Provide information/directions to visitors and callers about our services, programs, and volunteer opportunities.
- Answer questions and direct calls from the main telephone line
- Answer Meals on Wheels telephone lines, as needed
- Directs potential candidates to Feed More website for information for current job openings
- Coordinate delivery of inner and outer office mail/packages
- Assist Community Health and Resources Department with walk-in food referral information as well as, answer Hunger Hot Line telephone lines, as needed.
- Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff persons and meetings
- Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Must Have
- High School Diploma and at least two years of work experience or a combination of education and experience that will provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills, good time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities
- Experience in MS Office: i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to meet crises calmly, solve problems, show attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, show initiative, flexibility, work in a team environment, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadline
- Must have flexible schedule to accommodate corporate needs
Ideally, Will Have
- 3 – 5 years of work experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant
- Prior experience with non-profit organizations
- Strong customer service expertise
- Knowledge of food bank programs and the mission of food banks
- Familiar with the community and its resources
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
