While the summer season might be starting to wind down, the Richmond community is lighting up with fun events that help bring FeedMore’s mission to life!
Are you a Flying Squirrels fan? Don’t miss Salute to the Peanut on Tuesday, August 7 at the ball park! Fans who bring in a jar of peanut butter will be entered into a raffle to win a $500 voucher for Allegiant Airlines. All jars collected will be donated to FeedMore and distributed through our Network of Agencies to neighbors in need.
Calling all beer lovers! Fine Creek Brewing Company will be hosting a benefit night on Thursday, August 16 from 3-8 p.m. with a portion of the profits coming to us here at FeedMore.
Summer Movies on the Lawn at West Broad Village continues this month with showings on Friday, August 17 at 8:30 p.m. and Friday, August 31 at 8:30 p.m. Be sure you bring along your canned goods for free admission – all donations will help us feed more!
If you’re not able to make it out to an event this month but are still interested in helping, please consider becoming a Community Champion by hosting an online fundraiser! Whether it is for a birthday, wedding, special occasion or just because, with our new online giving platform you can create a personalized fundraiser to easily share with your friends, family and contacts.
