February is here and with it is a brand new menu for the homebound neighbors and seniors who have grown to love our made-from-scratch meals through Feed More’s Meals on Wheels program.
Our Bayard Community Kitchen staff and volunteers work hard each weekday to create dishes that are flavorful and healthy that our clients enjoy. This month we have dishes featuring salmon, pulled bbq pork, acorn squash and lots of delicious fruits and vegetables!
It warms our hearts to know that the meals for seniors prepared at Feed More are making a positive difference in the lives of the senior and homebound neighbors our Meals on Wheels serves. This program is a lifeline for our neighbors who are unable to maintain a healthy diet for themselves and want to remain independent and living in their own homes. Our volunteers deliver meals every weekday and provide an important safety check to our clients, making this program so much more than a meal.
