The holiday season here at Feed More is always a super special time of year! We love seeing our community’s giving spirit come alive with volunteers, events, food drives and monetary donations that support our many programs that help the more than 193,000 neighbors struggling with hunger in central Virginia.

Giving Food
The food we get from our community plays a big part in our fight against hunger. By starting a food drive or participating in one, you’re making a direct contribution to fill the dinner table of your neighbor in need!
To start your own food drive, please take a look at our food drive toolkit where you’ll find all kinds of information about how to set it up and helpful tips on how to encourage people to donate.
Once your food drive is over, feel free to drop off your donations at our Community Donation Drop-Off!
Giving Your Time
Feed More, quite simply, could not carry out our mission without the help of volunteers. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated, passionate people who come in every weekday and help us help our neighbors in their times of need.
From Meals on Wheels drivers to working in our Community Kitchen, sorting perishable and nonperishable foods, answering calls with our Hunger Hotline and working in our administrative offices, there is something for everyone at Feed More!

Giving Funds
By making a financial gift to Feed More, you are helping us fund the critical programs we provide throughout our service area. Every dollar is make a difference and has a big impact in helping these vulnerable communities. For every $5 we receive, we can provide 20 meals to your neighbors in need.
