RICHMOND, Va. – On September 23, more than 150 agencies from across Central Virginia came together for FeedMore’s Partner Agency Conference. With nearly 300 representatives from FeedMore’s Partner Agency Network in attendance, the Nourishing Communities Together conference provided FeedMore’s partner agencies with the opportunity to learn, network, share best practices and strengthen their partnerships with other hunger-relief organizations in the region.

“This was a wonderful opportunity to bring together our partner agencies across Central Virginia and recognize their rather extraordinary accomplishments in the fight against hunger,” said Norm Gold, Chief Operations Officer at FeedMore. “From smaller organizations run solely by volunteers to more sophisticated partner agencies that operate out of a warehouse and have a Board of Directors, each of our partner agencies plays a vital role in the lives of our nearly 200,000 neighbors who struggle with hunger. Our partner agencies’ diverse backgrounds, wealth of experiences and passionate dedication to our mission, and most importantly our community, will help us continue to positively impact our neighbors in their times of need.”

In addition to providing attendees with a day filled to the brim with learning, FeedMore also recognized the partner agencies that have gone above and beyond in the fight against hunger with the following awards:
