Feed More announces a $250,000 commitment from Timmons Group to help feed families and individuals across Central Virginia.

The “We Care” COVID-19 Virginia Emergency Food Support Plan will provide free and accessible meals and nourishment to families during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Ferrovial awarded a generous grant to Feed More, enabling the hunger-relief organization to distribute hundreds of thousands of meals to those in need across 29 counties and five cities in Central Virginia.

Kroger Mid-Atlantic presented nine of Feed More’s Agency Network members with grants to obtain critically needed resources that will strengthen programming and expand outreach to people struggling with hunger throughout Central Virginia.

Feed More’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will once again be providing free breakfast and lunch meals to thousands of children and teens this summer.

Feed More’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned it a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. This is the fourteenth consecutive time that Feed More has earned this top distinction.

Feed More has hired seven cooks from local restaurants to work in the Steve and Sarah Bayard Community Kitchen thanks to a grant from The Community Foundation for a greater Richmond’s Central Virginia COVID-19 Response Fund.
