Stamp Out Hunger 2014 Food Drive

05/10/2014 • Residences throughout Richmond Metro and Colonial Heights

Central Virginians will have the opportunity to fight hunger in our community by taking part in the 22nd annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive which is made possible through the help and support of the U.S. Postal Service, City Carriers, Rural Carriers and other postal employees, AFL-CIO Community Services and United Way.  Those wishing to donate non-perishable items to ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ are asked to donate items such as canned fruits, canned meats, canned tuna, canned vegetables, cereals, pasta and rice, peanut butter, and spaghetti sauce (in plastic containers only, please).  If you do not receive a ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ donation bag in your mailbox, you can simply use any paper or plastic grocery bag and place the items near your mailbox for pickup, or you may participate by making a financial contribution online at www.feedmore.org.
