What We're Looking For
Feed More Inc. seeks a full-time Dispatch and Sanitation Coordinator who will be responsible for expediting meals for all programs from the Community Kitchen to transportation services on time and at the correct temperature. Organizing, labeling and staging all shelf stable products that accompany meals. Responsible for assisting Leadership with sanitation process oversight of ware washing, waste disposal, and cleanliness of floor space, storage spaces, and dock area.

What You'll Do
- Primary responsibilities: Ensure all meals for Meals on Wheels Field Sites, Kids Cafe, Senior Congregate, and Frozen Meal Box Contracts are staged, organized, and ready for the Delivery Drivers to pick-up on time. Verify all meals are at correct temperature before drivers load on trucks. Ensuring all menu components, condiments, bread, crackers, fruit, milk, etc. for Kid’s Café, are ready for loading on Driver’s trucks.
- Print labels for Senior Congregate and Kids Café
- Manage Inventory of non-perishable and non-food items needed for component staging
- Reheating of all hot items to be dispatched
- Verify MOW Test Meals temps are <40 degrees.
- Ensure all items are obtained by each driver for meals dispatched.
- Ensure utility assistants are following proper sanitation practices according to VDH guidelines by verifying testing procedures and storage cleanliness for all ware staging areas
- Support utility opening and closing procedures
- Maintain safe work environment by keeping racks, wheels and other items neatly stacked and removed from dispatching area.
- Stage non-perishable items to be distributed the following day
- Follow department procedures for sanitation and temperature monitoring
- Collaborating with Volunteers and Transportation
- Other duties as assigned
Must Have
- High School Diploma and at least two years of work experience or a combination of education and experience that will provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good time management skills

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Skilled in MS Office: i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities
- Ability to meet crises calmly, show attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, show initiative, flexibility, work in a team environment, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadlines
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
- Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned

- Strong computer skills: Excel and Inventory Management Systems
- Prior experience with non-profit organizations
- Strong customer service expertise
- Knowledge of Foodbank programs, an awareness of how specific functions relate to programs and the mission of Foodbanks
- Familiar with community feeding programs
