Our Mobile Pantry distributes a variety of healthy food items to underserved communities or areas where there is limited access to grocery stores. Known as food deserts, the Mobile Pantry travels to urban neighborhoods and rural communities throughout our service area to distribute healthy food each month to people where they live, improving their access to healthy, nutritious food. Our Mobile Pantry provides each household with about 35 pounds of perishable and nonperishable food items including a healthy protein, fresh produce, whole-grain crackers, cereal or snacks, peanut butter and other shelf-stable, nutrient-rich food items.
