Children’s Programs

Our Children's Nutrition Programs are dedicated to providing at-risk children with the nourishment they need to learn, grow and most importantly, thrive.

Our Kids Cafe program provides a hot, healthy supper meal and/or snack to school children who attend afterschool programs at community centers, daycares, schools and other organizations.

Created to ensure that the children of low-income households continue to receive meals during the summer when school is not in session, our Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) offers free breakfast and lunch meals to summer program sites that serve thousands of local children in need.

And our weekend BackPack program gives children at risk of hunger a back pack filled with six healthy, child-friendly, nonperishable meals to ensure they have food on weekends and over school breaks, so they can return to school nourished and ready to learn.
