Food and Fund Drives Set-up

Food drives organized by businesses, associations, churches and other groups are critically important to keep our Distribution Center stocked with nutritious food for our neighbors who face hunger. FeedMore can make your food drive easy and fun. Please fill out the form below to tell us more about your food drive. Once you've registered your food drive below, you can begin collecting food. Below are some frequently asked questions about food drives.

What are your most needed items?

See our list to the right of the page. Due to Virginia Department of Health and the United States Department of Agriculture guidelines, we cannot distribute homemade goods or anything that has not been produced in an inspected kitchen and subject to VDH and USDA review.

How do I deliver my items once I have finished my food drive?

Once your food drive is complete donations can be dropped off at our campus located at 1601 Rhoadmiller Street (right down the street from the Richmond SPCA and directly next to Helping Hands Affordable Veterinary Surgery and Dental Care), Monday – Friday anytime from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.*

Please be aware that the FeedMore team, and our parking lot, is especially busy dispatching our Meals on Wheels each weekday morning from about 10 – 11:15 a.m. If it is possible to drop off your donation before or after dispatch, it would be most appreciated.

Donations should be brought to door number 13 at 1601 Rhoadmiller Street and donation receipts are available upon request.

*Please note our schedule sometimes changes around holidays, so it is always best to call before coming to confirm our hours.

Can you pick up my donation?

Due to our limited transportation resources, we are only able to pick up donations of 250 pounds or more, which is typically about 350 items that can fit in two large food drive boxes or six small boxes.

When are pick-ups available?

We can pick up items Monday through Friday 8 a.m.- 4 p.m., you may request a day and time, but due to transportation limitations, we cannot guarantee specific requests. To request a pick-up or should you have any further questions, please contact Christy Dalton, Community Events Manager, or 804-549-5668.
