Dominion Energy Family Easter at Maymont Park
If you’re looking for fun weekend events in Richmond, don’t miss Dominion Energy Family Easter at Maymont on Saturday, April 4!
Celebrate the season at Maymont Park as the six-acre Carriage House Lawn fills with hands-on crafts and games, live entertainment, local food trucks and even photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny!
One special stop families won’t want to miss is the Community Zone, where kids can meet Richmond mascots and public safety officers, explore emergency vehicles and farm equipment – and get an up-close look at our mobile kids market, Feed More Freddie!
This is a great opportunity to step inside our big green hunger-fighting machine and discover how Freddie helps deliver nutritious food to children and families across Central Virginia.
The excitement continues at the Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm, where guests can enjoy activities and live performances on three stages. You can also tour the newly reopened Maymont Mansion, or relax with a picnic on the lawn while enjoying treats from local food vendors.
With petting zoos, crafts, games, live entertainment and plenty of springtime surprises, Dominion Energy Family Easter at Maymont offers something for everyone!

Advance tickets are recommended. Admission is just $7 for adults, and $5 for children (1-16) and seniors (65+). The event is free for Maymont members and Museums for All participants.
At check-in, each guest will receive 3 activity tickets that can be redeemed for an activity, toy or prize – be sure to bring an Easter basket! Additional activity tickets are just $2 each. All event proceeds help Maymont care for this beloved historic green space.
