23rd Annual M4K Richmond Growing Season

Let’s grow this thing! M4K Richmond is an amazing local fundraising event that comes around every November. Dedicated to improving the lives of local children, hundreds across Greater Richmond embark on a month-long journey known as The Growing Season.

Participants sprout a sweet mustache to raise money for local children’s charities, including The Children’s Hospital Foundation, Greater Richmond SCAN, ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation and Feed More, and to date, they’ve raised more than $5.5 million for Richmond-based nonprofits!

And generous initiatives like this are critical for the families we serve. Right here in Central Virginia, 1 in 6 children are estimated to struggle with food insecurity, meaning they don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Thanks to community supporters like M4K Richmond, our Children’s Programs are dedicated to helping ensure our region’s kids and teens have the nourishment they need to learn, grow and thrive.
