FeedMore Announces Election of New Board Members for 2016-2017

RICHMOND, Va. – FeedMore announced it has elected three new members to its Board of Directors. On July 1, Dwight Jones, Darcy Oman and Danny Robinson began their terms on FeedMore’s Board of Directors. FeedMore also re-elected its current officers for the 2016-17 fiscal year.

“We are incredibly excited, and very fortunate, to welcome Mr. Jones, Ms. Oman and Mr. Robinson to the FeedMore family,” said Doug Pick, Chief Executive Officer at FeedMore. “Their diverse backgrounds, wealth of experiences and passionate dedication to our community will help us continue on our strategic journey and positively impact our neighbors in need.”

FeedMore’s newest board member, Dwight Jones is a seasoned finance executive with close to three decades of experience. A graduate of Howard University and currently with LeClairRyan as the Chief Financial Officer, Jones has a proven track record of significantly improving operational and financial performance and exceeding expectations at a variety of corporate organizations including Mars Incorporated, Black Entertainment Television and MeadWestvaco.

Darcy S. Oman has been a fixture in the Richmond community for nearly 30 years. Hired as the first full-time professional staff member for The Community Foundation Serving Richmond & Central Virginia in 1985, Oman served as the organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for 30 years and upon her retirement, received the prestigious, and permanent, designation of President Emerita. With a background in higher education and human services, Oman is an active volunteer with various non-profit organizations throughout the Richmond community and has spent significant time lending a helping hand in FeedMore’s Community Kitchen.

In his current role as the Senior Vice President/Group Creative Director with The Martin Agency, Danny Robinson is also the co-founder of Vigilante, an innovative Manhattan-based advertising agency that was behind award-winning campaigns for Sprint, Major League Baseball, Pontiac and Snapple. A Hampton University alumnus with a Master of Business Administration from Atlanta University, Robinson is an advertising force to be reckoned with and played an integral role in helping The Martin Agency land the biggest new business win in the company’s history – Walmart.

FeedMore also re-elected Charles F. “Chip” Phillips III, Richmond Office Managing Partner at Ernst and Young LLP, Chairperson; Mike C. Morrell, President of Performance Food Service – Virginia, Vice Chairperson; Daniel Scarvey, Partner at KPMG LLP, Treasurer; and Carlos M.
