Our hearts go out to those who have already been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19). Although we do not yet know how this outbreak will impact Central Virginia, we are monitoring its status closely and doing everything we can to ensure those who depend on us, and your investment, continue to receive nutritious food.
As part of its commitment to fight hunger in its communities, Perdue Farms donated 2,950 chicken roasters to Feed More to help brighten the holidays for thousands of families across Central Virginia.
With a $7,500 donation to Feed More, the grocer is covering the cost of a special Thanksgiving meal for over 800 senior and homebound neighbors in Feed More’s Meals on Wheels program.
Feed More has immediate volunteer openings at several dispatch locations for their Meals on Wheels program, including south Richmond, Chesterfield, Highland Springs, Charles City and metro Richmond.
This is the thirteenth consecutive time that Feed More has earned the top distinction from Charity Navigator.
