Bringing nourishment to our communities.

It’s all in the name. Feed More’s Mobile Pantry program takes food directly to neighbors who need it. Essentially a grocery store on wheels, our Mobile Pantry distributes thousands of pounds of food to neighbors in the communities where they live. Powered by Kroger, the Mobile Pantry has quickly become an integral part of our distribution system, and helps get food out quickly and efficiently to neighbors who need it most.

Who does it help?

The Mobile Pantry distributes healthy food for wholesome meals to neighborhoods throughout our 34 county and city service area and is primarily focused on getting food to those who live in communities that are underserved and don’t have easy access to a grocery store. Currently, our trucks go to 30 different sites each month, serving between 1,600- 1,700 households, or about 4,500 adults, seniors and children.

What do we distribute?

Feed More is dedicated to distributing food that is both nutritious and delicious. Our team carefully pulls together a menu of perishable and nonperishable food, so we include a wide variety of items at every site. From hummus to bread, to cauliflower, chicken and apples, each family receives at least 35 lbs. of food, 60-70 percent of which is fresh produce.

How can you support our Mobile Pantry program?

Because each Mobile Pantry distribution sites has their own setup and volunteer base, making a financial gift is the best, and most impactful way to help keep this wonderful program going. Our donors play an essential role at Feed More by helping thousands of individuals and families who confront the impacts of poor nutrition every day.

There are many ways you can give to this program financially, from donating online to creating your own fundraiser. For more information, please check out our Give page.
