A creative, and fun, way to help Feed More!

07/30/2019

CANstruction is back for another year of incredible design! All of us at Feed More love being part of this fun competition among local architecture firms. CANstruction has been one of our favorite community events for over 20 years!

Hosted by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Richmond Chapter, firms across the city will build large structures entirely out of full cans of food. This year their creations will be in the theme of Virginia historical places! Each structure will remain on display for two weeks for the entire community to enjoy at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

Money raised from the competition will be donated to Feed More, as well as the cans of food used in each design. Last year, CANstruction provided over 30,000 meals to our hunger-fighting efforts with their amazing animated cartoon themed works of art!

Be sure to check out this year’s creations anytime between August 10 – 24 to see all of the amazing builds and you can vote on your favorite creation through August 21 at https://bit.ly/2N5ST9g.
